LAOLA goes Lautstark

It is not always easy to find committed participants for an academic study. But LAOLA received a lot of support right from the start – and recruited many test subjects for the project.

Even before the start of our first LAOLA study, we inspired great interest from speech pathologists and received a lot of positive feedback. We were able to build on this when recruiting test subjects for our LAOLA study. We are particularly grateful for the commitment of the speech therapy practice Lautstark from Esens. The team led by practice manager Daniela Rehfeld actively supported us in recruiting patients with voice disorders as test subjects for our LAOLA Study 1.

We are looking for even more users of our study app

Through Lautstark, we have also reached numerous patients with healthy voices. These subjects also provided valuable visual and acoustic data for our study. Based on their input, we will train the LAOLA machine learning algorithm for automated homework support. We would like to thank Mrs Rehfeld and her colleagues for their great help.

Would you also like to support LAOLA, too? We are looking for volunteers for our second study. You can find out all about LAOLA Study 2 and how to participate here
